Based on peptide engineering and sustained-release technology, it designs and manufactures long-acting smart drugs and peptide new drugs, and operates GMP mass-production facilities that contract-manufacture PRESENDIN, an idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) treatment, for Invex Therapeutics of Australia. In 2014 Peptron licensed in worldwide exclusive rights to a GLP-1 analog-based neurodegenerative disease treatment from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and completed a Phase 2 trial for Parkinson's disease in Korea, and in 2021 it signed a contract manufacturing agreement with Invex Therapeutics covering the ten years following commercial launch.
