Founded in 1998 as Citri Co., Ltd. and listed on KOSDAQ in 2015, HLB Pharmaceutical adopted its current name upon joining the HLB Group in 2020 and manufactures and sells prescription drugs. It sells over 160 prescription medicines including Rosuduo, Citcler, and Citrelin through consignment sales, alongside R&D on long-acting injectable (DDS) new and improved drugs, a CMO contract manufacturing business, and the joint-health supplement brand Kwanchel. In 2025 revenue reached KRW 205.5 billion with a roughly 34% five-year CAGR, and in May 2025 the company acquired 100% of Shinhwa Advance, adding a pharmaceutical distribution segment.
