Using its aptamer-drug conjugate (ApDC®) platform, it develops solid-tumor drug candidate AST-201 and blood-cancer candidate AST-202, alongside the aptamer-based lung cancer risk test AptoDetect™-Lung. Through an August 2024 merger it entered the CRO business analyzing antibody drugs, ADCs, and peptides, states it shortened typical 5-7 year drug candidate discovery to about 3 years, and is running a Phase 1 trial of AST-201 at four hospitals in Korea.
